gStartPage is a free extension for Flash MX2004 Pro and Flash 8. It minimizes or removes some of the less used features of the built in project panel such as create from template, and the Macromedia news panels, while adding a RSS reader and a clean new look.

If you own the gProject panel, it lets you select a project without having to open a blank document first. Clicking a gProject in the list selects the project in the gProject panel and opens the anchor FLA in flash.

We originally built this for our in-house use, but after a gProject user requested such an update, we decided to clean it up and release it to everyone.

So who needs the gStartPage? If you have gProject this is a must. If you don’t, then you may want it just for the aggregator, which is customizable if you poke around your configuration folder. gStartPage is available for Flash MX 2004 7.2 and Flash 8.
